History
1994 - After the turbulent transition period that took a toll on the efficency of goverment controlled firms in Macedonia, many privatly owned garment factories emerged. The new entrepreneurs brought with them decades of experience.
However no service in the area of garment finishing existed in the country. Hence, Mr. Vencislav Filipov, a textile engeneer with more than 30 years of experience decides to found V.I.T. and begun building a new production plant.
1996 - The firm had started to operate in a newly build production plant, bringing into the firm people that had vast experiences in the area.
1997 - As a lider in the the field the company immediatly starts working with global brands like Liz Claiborne, Bueno Shirts.
2001 - In cooperation with the research department of the Faculty for Technology from St's Cyril and Methodius University, V.I.T. begins production of tencel, and begins an agresive approach on the market. The project opens a new symbolic cooperation betwen research profesors from St's Cyril and Methodius University and V.I.T. Co. that last till today.

2002 - Purchasing of new machinery, V.I.T. expands its capacity to process 5000 pieces/day using stone wash or 4000 pieces/day processing tencel or 20000 pieces/day using normal garment wash.
2003 - V.I.T is part of a Macedonian consortium that buys Astibo, a former Yugoslav fashion magnate. The acquasition brings V.I.T. a new production facility and a new office building.
2004 - Floral park established on the premises of the garments finishing plant.
2006 - The company become ISO 9001:2000 certified
V.I.T. is a private company established since 1994 in the area of textile confection finishing, and in Macedonia it's the leader in this area, with a continuing grow of the profit from 60%. In 2004 the company made a profit of 470 000,00 € which in itself is an achievement for a company in Macedonia. Today our company has the biggest capacity in our business sector - textile and confection products finishing, in Macedonia, with capability to finish 20000 pcs/daily of confection units (normal washing) and 5500 pcs/daily jeans products in all available technologies for finishing. Apart from this activity confection finishing, our company is the only authorized representative distributor of NOVOZYMES products, company for production of chemicals from Denmark.
V.I.T. as an expert organisation with qualified personnel for confection products finishing, has developed an extensive business cooperation with many institutions, laboratories, companies and also with State organisations for Quality assessment of confection products.
